Hi, everyone! I wanted to share this photo from November 7th, 2018. The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors presented me, the Grant Writer (left check holder) and Lori Bomar, Head Teacher and Administrator (center) with a $35,000 Big Check from the Gila River Indian Community Grant. This grant is to pay for a Behavioral Interventionist at the Model Creek School, whose sole purpose is to provide guidance to students, grades K- 8, helping them to make behavior choices that will enhance the overall learning environment. This is a huge deal for the small rural school! Congratulations to all.
