In the world of Tech, STEM and Digital, today’s students are privy to wonderful learning experiences. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t change the old fashioned way that I was trained as a child. Having said that, I LOVE technology and am encouraged that our children will greatly benefit from the developments we use in teaching now.
Teachers of pre K – 12th grade students are eligible to apply for the CenturyLink Teachers and Technology Program Grant of up to $5,000. The grants are funded through the CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation, a nonprofit that chooses to improve lives of CenturyLink communities.
I’ll give you some advice: make sure you click here and see a list of the last 300 awards to gain perspective about what CenturyLink is looking for in a fund-able project. Last year, the Foundation received nearly 2,000 applications. They are highly interested in innovative classrooms, teachers, so be creative! I researched and found no conflict with several teachers from the same school applying. However, you’ll notice in the previous award list that they apparently did not fund the same school twice.
